An Item of Clothing
Describe an item of clothing that was bought for you.
You should say:
what it is; bathrobe
what it looks like; big, heavy, hooded grey bathrobe
why it was bought for you; there were no apparent reason why it was brought for me. But maybe it’s because I have never got a bathrobe before
You should say:
what it is; bathrobe
what it looks like; big, heavy, hooded grey bathrobe
why it was bought for you; there were no apparent reason why it was brought for me. But maybe it’s because I have never got a bathrobe before
and explain how you feel (or felt) about this item of clothing.
I like its
colour, grey is sort of modest, neither too ostentatious like red or yellow,
nor does it seem to be acutely depressing like black or purple. This also
complies with my introverted character as well. So I prefer grey more than any
other colour else.
apart from this, I favour loose clothes very much, especially those with
a hood in the back, because it renders me to be comfortable and relax, usually I would like to pull up the hood when I am outside, which is
able to partially conceal myself from other people’s attention.
Practical: I wear over my clothes most of the time I am at home in
winter. The place where I live is pretty chilly and it is too drafty to
afford to be able to heat it to a comfortable level. Thus the robe helps a lot!
I could even wear a T-shirt inside without feeling cold.
