All the information below may be subject to change according to different coordinator or semester.
ACCT6002
- Significant amount of reading, but few people failed.
There are AT LEAST 1 journal article to read every week (If it's summer/winter, then AT LEAST 2 articles to read), and I'm afraid everyone has to prepare answers for the questions attached to them, because this course has participation marks.
So try to find answers to these questions from previous students. This may save significant time.
- Both Middle and Final exams have multiple questions, and they cover ALL materials.
- In Final, probably you have to memorise ALL conclusions of the articles read, because there was one question asking you to use what you have learnt to answer. Those answers I suppose relate to those conclusions.
- There was one question of climate accounting, probably it will ask your suggestions of how to prepare entries of CO2 allowance.
- There was one question of preparing entries of foreign transactions. This is very similar to what you will learn in ACCT6010.
