A Mathematics Class
Describe a mathematics class you attended at primary school.
You should say:
when and where you attended the class;
You should say:
when and where you attended the class;
And as for when I attended the class, well
I suppose it must have been in middle 1990s,
when I WAS 6 or 7 years old/ the venue of the primary school WAS near the
place where my mom workED, in order to have lunch more conveniently
what the teacher taught
what the teacher taught
I could only evoke a vague memory of my primary school
MOST impressive thing that teacher TAUGHT WAS Multiplication table, which we HAD
to memorise it, otherwise teacher WOULD
inflict corporal punishment on us.
what you did
what you did
I, SIIMILAR TO other peers, forcED myself to commit it to my memory
and explain what
you learn from the class/ how you felt about the class.
Apart from the basic arithmetic, the most valuable lesson I learnT WAS
the notion behind the concept of unit of measurement
Although its a simple concept,I reckon this indicates the importance of detail. For example, in math, 2 numbers with different unit of measurement cannot be calculated,but at that time I usually neglected this, I regardED this as a much smaller
mistake than others, and DIDN'T pay any attention to that.
BUT gradually, I discover that I have acquired a habit of careless. Now,
I still repeat such mistakes not only in my arithmetic, but this also extendS
to my life. For instance, when I doing my current study, I find myself often
miss some of the instructions in the question, or misspell some words in my
assignment without the help of word processor. But most of my peers are more
careful than I am.
