Describe a time
when you helped someone.
You should say:

how you helped them
You should say:

sharED my personal summary of lecture notes of xxxx and my
answer of problem questions revised by the lecturer
why you helped them
why you helped them
direct reason was that they asked me whether I could help, another reason was that I reckoned that I should help others if that
was within my ability.
and explain how
this person benefited from your help.
1saved their time of summarising by themselves, because the lecture has said that this would be an open book exam and
dropped a broad hint that the scope of the final exam would be within the
problem question in textbook behind each chapter,so I took that hint and
fortunately was the first one who came to his office and asked him to pass some
comments on my work, the lecturer appeared to be
sufficiently satisfied with my answers despite of some slight deficiencies,so compared to the
situation where they needED to go through the whole process by themselves,
which would probably took up nearly a week, I reckon that referring to my
answer DID can save a considerable amount of time under intense pressure before the exam.Apart from this, those were word version, which is easily to edit.
2probably the most direct one was that, they could achieve a decent
mark or at least a pass in their finals, because as I said this was an
open book exam, final paper, actually I did
exactly the same and scored a credit
