1.Some people believe
that the shortage of fossil fuels will lead to the replacement of
alternative energy like solar system and wind. To what extent do you agree
or disagree?
We were brought up to
believe that the earth is generous to us. However, gone are the days that
people could squander resources at their will, especially those unrenewable
energy like fossil fuels. Accordingly, it is collectively believed that
alternative energy will replace fossil fuels in the future. This argument will
be analysed in terms of scientific evidence alongside the merits of new energy.
To begin with, researchers
have been raising the public consensus regarding the scarcity of traditional
energies. For example, scholars have pointed out that unrenewable energy will
be depleted within approximately six decades. This example clearly indicates
the fact that fossil fuels will be extinct even without the competition with
clean energy. Consequently, the doom of fossil fuels is inevitable by its
nature.
Secondly, alternative
energy itself has assorted advantages, such as low toxic gas emission and inexhaustible
productivity. Take Beijing for example, vast usage of fossil fuels has been
found as the culprit of recent air pollution, which in turn results in a high
chance of acquiring lung cancer and other related diseases. This phenomenon
would be eased substantially had new energy been adopt. Thus, it is readily discernible
for the need to relocate traditional energy by alternative power.
To recapitulate, based
on the above discussion, the scarcity of fossil fuels and the drawback of itself
exert an undeniable fact that traditional energy will substituted by clean
power in the coming future. Consequently, it could be predicted that the planet
will be cleaner and cleaner in the future.
